About CHSW Bear Hunt

More than twenty five beautifully decorated bears have appeared across the South West of England, around Bideford, Barnstaple, Great Torrington and Ilfracombe. Discover the region's sights, soaking up the scenery while enjoying these charismatic and fun bear sculptures decorated by local artists.

The 'bears that care' are part of a temporary art trail raising funds for Children’s Hospice South West, as well as exposing incredible local talent on this special art trail.
